Explorer Mid Cap Growth

Explorer Accounts: U.S. Equity

The Explorer Mid-Cap Growth Account focuses on midsize companies. The portfolio manager targets U.S. firms that are projected to grow faster as compared to other mid-cap companies, thus commanding relatively higher prices. The U.S. mid-cap range for market capitalization typically falls between $1 billion and $8 billion, and represents 20% of the total capitalization of the U.S. equity market. Growth is defined based on fast growth (high growth rates for earnings, sales, book value, and cash flow) and high valuations (high price ratios and low dividend yields).
